The Men and the moon

The Men and the moon
by Elhoim Leafar

While it is true that the moon is the star most related to magic and sorcery, something we always forget, the light of the moon and its energy is only a reflection of the energy and light of the Sun, but it is the moon who Take this energy, absorb it, clean it, purify it and mold it in various ways before returning it to the earth.

The sun is the star whose energy dominates the earth, the fire, the golden light of the day and everything that transforms our conscious (our present self) while the moon is the star whose energy dominates over the elements related to the forms of communication (air and water), our understanding of time, night and everything that influences or transforms the subconscious (your inner self).

The sun has an undeniable regency over positive-masculine energy, while the moon is more linked to negative-feminine energy, so it is easier for men to contact solar energy, while the feminine sex has a greater connection with lunar energy This does not mean that the opposite cannot be done, it simply translates into men telling us more about connecting our energy with lunar energy, while women have a harder time connecting with solar energy.

This has nothing to do with "the Patriarchate," "Toxic Masculinity," "Nazi radical Feminism," or "gender ideology," which is simply an energy construction that manifests itself above the "social construct."

The moon influences the gravitational field of the earth, the waves of the sea, the senses of location and location of animals, intuition and dreams, as well as many other things, including among these the menstrual cycles of the female sex.

However, it is also true that the moon influences the male sex in many other ways that do not seem to be mentioned by other authors, not very often.

The sleep periods:

In the female sex, the frequency and perception of dreams become stronger during the new moon, while in the male sex, dreams, their frequency and clarity become stronger as the moon is fuller.

Virility and fertility

Although the moon and all its cycles affect nature, they also especially affect human reproduction cycles, women tend to be more fertile during the period of the crescent moon, it is a period of gestation when the body works to resolve cell regeneration. While men are noticeably more manly with the full moon, and certainly more anxious when it comes to sexuality during the waning moon.

Now, the different phases of the moon affect a man and his energy in different ways, then without explanatory comparisons with the female sex:

New moon

It is the period during which we do not see the moon in the sky, in some cases we can see a gloomy figure among the clouds but entirely devoid of light, this is the moon phase where the energy is in the process of renewal.

In the Wiccan tradition, this time is associated with death (in a face-to-face sense) and with the spiritual emptiness, that feeling of sadness and confusion that can be generated when a guide is not available.

During this period the masculine energy, unlike the feminine energy, is exalted and abrupt, the energy levels in the body seem higher than usual because the absence of lunar energy fervently increases the absorption of vitamins in the body, testosterone production, and mental energy.

While the body seems to feel stronger than usual, this usually leads directly to long periods of exhaustion, anxiety generated by excess energy, and lack of sleep.

The crescent moon

It is the period of growth of illumination on the lunar surface, it is a period of growth and maturity in all aspects. In the Wiccan tradition, this cycle is associated with the representation of the goddess as a virgin maiden, symbolizing purity, innocence and the desire to grow, in the most adventurous of the senses.

This cycle begins with short periods of instantaneous calm for men, it is here that the moon is taking position in the matter and begins to channel the sunlight and its energy, during this cycle the moon is gaining strength and along with it the Female sex, this is where men develop a period in which concentration is the goal.

While here the moon is gaining strength, the sun is not, therefore, weaker, it is simply a period in which the lunar energy begins to charge enough power to say “Stop! You get here ”and that is good, because socially speaking, there must always be a power that shows opposition to ours.

Full moon

It is a time of culmination and celebrating, the moon here acquires the power to make all kinds of subtle or drastic changes on the earth, the waves of the sea become stronger and the clouds of the sky seem to move much faster. Here the moon is at its maximum, it is literally the queen on her throne shining in all its splendor.

In the Wiccan tradition, this lunar cycle is associated with the goddess in her role as a mother, she is a devoted mother and in turn, she is pregnant, she is a selfless mother who has some experience, but she is wise to recognize that she is still in a constant period learning.

For women, this period symbolizes empowerment and clarity, but it is also a cycle during which menstrual bleeding can be much more painful and complex. For the male sex instead, this period feels emotional, like swimming in the middle of an ocean full of sharks, we are attentive, always on guard, we feel under some kind of vigilance, this rhythm makes man feel mentally exhausted, like if I feel that they are watching him all the time, the nights go by much faster and the moon begins to influence our subconscious.

The full moon is a symbol of power, hence many traditions refer to such power as "something capable of turning the man into a beast and vice versa." The euphoria, the desire to run and get out of where we are, the desire to break the social stereotype, dress and act differently, all these are common signs of men who feel the influence of the full moon.

The waning moon

It is a cycle of death and renewal, it symbolizes endings and farewells, the moon darkens a little more every day, we feel its distance in the streets, while the Sun is sending important doses of energy day after day, the moon is slowly loading , it recharges us with this clean energy, it is renewed, a period of greater lucidity arrives, and then the moon says goodbye for another period, while this happens the sun continues to shine as an immense symbol of power, but the moon is no longer for level it, so now we feel a light fatigue that takes over our days, we feel that the sun begins to nourish us again, nothing stands between it and us, and it is here that we begin to generate energy.

The Wiccan tradition associates this lunar phase with the image of the goddess in her face as a wise old woman, she is an old woman who is not afraid of anything, her power is immense and she is not afraid to prove it, but she also does not waste time in showing off, she is the best friend and ally of death, who is the one who accompanies her and dresses her with her dark cloth to cover herself with the cold of the night.

During the waning moon men generate more energy, it is during this cycle before the renewal that comes with the new moon, when we generate and store that energy that we will use shortly under the other cycles. It is here that we feel strong, invincible, creative and enterprising again, we are regaining our power in these moments and we prepare to invest, create, transform and destroy all kinds of projects and processes in the short term.

Other useful information for you.

Now, the most appropriate periods for a man to meditate is usually between the new moon and the crescent moon, is where the mind usually reaches a higher frequency without energy complications in its environment, while the meditations performed during the full moon can lead to a greater number of conscious and unconscious distractions.

Another important factor is that during the full moons men must drink much more water, it is a period of transformative energy and culmination, which beyond the typical “full moon causes a lot of anxiety” also usually involves a huge physical and mental exhaustion, the body produces more sweat and there is a strong tendency to dehydration.

Contrary to traditional astrology that tells us that practically all planets influence us all equally, modern astrology, more specifically one of its branches that is 'humanist astrology', indicates that planets work differently on each individual taking take into account their time of birth, seasons, sun sign and moon sign, etc ... This also derives the popular belief that men are more virile (and physically strong) when lunar periods linked to fire signs occur (Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius) and land signs (Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn). Well, during these periods our connection is stronger as a community.
