Ghosts & Spirits (essences) and a little confusion about.

Usually people tend to confuse both terms as one, but this confusion is due to a misuse of the term that has been used in the media, such confusion began in 1967 with the publication of the first metaphysics books of the hand of an American publishing house, who used the term "spirit" to refer to conscience, or in some cases to the will of the people, because it was an interesting and attractive term to attract the public. In the most practical term, ghosts are the souls of the dead (in most cultures), in metaphysical terminology, once these souls spend some time in the spiritual world (outside the physical body) permeating themselves in spiritual energy, these souls become ghosts.

The biggest difference between the two forms from the shamanic vision, is that souls are "constructed" of an energy so subtle that they can be easily summoned and their presence is almost imperceptible from the world of the living, while ghosts have a much presence more remarkable, stronger, it costs more work to invoke them, and due to the energy they possess they are called in shamanic rituals for possession works. A spirit is something much more evolved, an intelligent way of life that inhabits the spiritual plane, and that with some help, is able to move between different planes and spiritual worlds (making it clear that these are many and more than one), and the oldest of these spirits become part of the essence of the great spirits, those who lead the spiritual plane.
